New Now: Marshals Episode 12 Trailer is PERFECT!

MARSHALS EPISODE 12 TRAILER IS PERFECT — MILES GOES ROGUE AS KAYCE, CALVIN, AND ANDREA FACE THE AFTERSHOCK OF EPISODE 11

Marshals just delivered one of its most emotional episodes yet, and now Episode 12 looks ready to push the whole season into dangerous territory.

Episode 11 did not simply give us action. It gave us answers. For weeks, fans have wondered what really happened between Kayce, Calvin, Garrett, and Roner, and why that old wound still had so much power over them. Now we finally know the truth, and honestly, it changes the way we look at Calvin completely.

The flashbacks took us back to Afghanistan in 2015, where Kayce, Calvin, Garrett, and Roner were involved in a brutal operation that went terribly wrong. Roner was separated from the team, and in the chaos, everyone believed he had been killed. Based on the information Garrett gave him, Calvin made the impossible decision to pull the team out.

But the tragedy was worse than they knew.

Roner had not died immediately. He was wounded, but still alive. He kept fighting. He kept holding on. And because the team never came back for him, he eventually lost his life alone.

That truth explains why the wound between the men never healed. Roner was not just another soldier. He was their brother. His death created guilt, silence, blame, and years of emotional distance.

For a long time, it seemed like Calvin was the one who carried responsibility for abandoning Roner. But Episode 11 revealed the deeper truth: Garrett was the one who told Calvin that Roner was definitely dead. Calvin acted on Garrett’s information, then protected him afterward because Garrett was already drowning in guilt.

That makes Calvin’s silence much more heartbreaking. He did not hide the truth to save himself. He let everyone blame him so Garrett would not collapse under the weight of what happened. It was painful, but also deeply loyal in the way only battlefield brotherhood can be.

And Kayce saving Calvin’s life on that freezing mountain finally broke through the anger between them. For a moment, all the accusations, resentment, and old pain disappeared, and they remembered who they used to be to each other.

Brothers.

Calvin’s decision to forgive Kayce, and to let go of what he had learned about the Dutton family’s darker history, felt like a major turning point. But that does not mean the Dutton past is finished haunting this show. In fact, Episode 11 may have only opened the door wider.

Neil’s body resurfacing at the end of the episode could create serious problems. If law enforcement connects that body to the train station or to Kayce, then all the secrets Calvin agreed to bury may come back anyway. Kayce may have survived the mountain, but the Dutton sins are still waiting for him.

Then came another emotional blow: Garrett’s death.

Marshals Episode 1 Recap: "Piya Wiconi"

Even though the surgery was technically successful, the damage to his lungs was too severe. Calvin lost Garrett before he could speak to him one last time. Andrea lost someone she had just started building a relationship with. That grief is absolutely going to carry into Episode 12.

And that brings us to the next episode, titled “The Devil at Home.”

The synopsis makes it clear that the Marshals will uncover a drug cartel targeting the Broken Rock reservation. At the same time, they will be racing to find Miles, only to discover he has gone rogue to hunt down a trafficker.

That already sounds like one of the most intense episodes of the season.

Episode 11 quietly set Miles up for a bigger role. His meeting with the senator through Thomas, and the way his actions helped slow down the mining operation at Broken Rock, showed that Miles is becoming more important to the larger story. Now Episode 12 seems ready to put him directly in the emotional center.

If someone close to Miles dies from an overdose, it would explain why he makes a reckless choice. He already hates traffickers, especially those who target vulnerable young girls. If the cartel and trafficking storyline overlap, Miles may decide he cannot wait for orders anymore.

That is dangerous.

A Marshal going rogue might feel heroic in the moment, but it can also put the entire team at risk. Miles may be brave, but grief and rage can make even a good man careless. Kayce and Mo may have to step in before Miles gets himself killed.

Meanwhile, the Andrea and Kayce tension is becoming impossible to ignore. Garrett’s death will likely push them closer, not romantically right away, but emotionally. Andrea cared about Garrett, and Kayce understands loss better than anyone. Their connection may grow through shared grief.

Still, Kayce is complicated. Monica’s memory is still part of him. Tate is still his center. If he develops feelings for Andrea, it will not happen easily. But the show has clearly been building something between them, and Season 2 may be where that finally becomes undeniable.

Episode 12 looks like it will be explosive: cartel violence, Broken Rock under threat, Miles losing control, Andrea grieving, Kayce facing old consequences, and the train station secret creeping closer to the surface.

The finale is almost here.

And if Episode 11 was about buried guilt…

Episode 12 may be about what happens when guilt becomes action.
