BRENNAN’S SECRET TRAP MAY HAVE ALREADY DESTROYED CULLUM — HARKER COULD BE THE WSB’S BIGGEST DOUBLE GAME

Cullum believes he is finally winning. Britt may unknowingly be carrying poisoned medication, Carly and Charlotte have become his next targets, and Cassius has walked straight into

a deadly trap. On the surface, every move seems to be unfolding exactly as Cullum planned. But what if the real story isn’t about Cullum’s victory at all? What if General Hospital has quietly

been showing viewers that his downfall has already begun? One overlooked character—WSB Agent Harker—may be the biggest clue that Brennan has been playing a much longer game than anyone realizes.

General Hospital has already shown fans a successful blueprint for bringing down a major villain. Sidwell wasn’t defeated because someone overpowered him in a direct confrontation. Instead, his own network began to crack from within. Pascal became the critical weak link that exposed secrets and shifted the balance of power. The writers didn’t destroy the villain first—they dismantled the people closest to him. Looking at the current WSB storyline, it’s difficult to ignore how closely Harker’s role resembles that same pattern.

Unlike an unnamed security guard or background agent, Harker has been given a proper identity, recurring appearances, and meaningful dialogue. Those choices usually suggest that a character has a larger purpose in the story. More importantly, Harker isn’t simply standing beside Cullum. He knows almost everything. He tracks Cassius’s movements, reports directly to Cullum, knows about the stolen medication, understands the poison plot against Britt, and appears to have knowledge of Cullum’s broader operations. That is not the position of an ordinary subordinate—it is the position of someone trusted with the villain’s most dangerous secrets.

The June 24 episode may have quietly revealed just how dependent Cullum has become on Harker. Cullum never caught Cassius stealing the medication himself. He acted only after Harker reported every detail of Cassius’s movements. Harker’s intelligence triggered the entire sequence that confirmed the poison trap had worked. That moment raises an interesting possibility: if Harker disappeared tomorrow, how much of Cullum’s operation would still function? The answer may be far less than Cullum realizes.

That leads directly to Brennan. As one of the WSB’s most experienced strategists, Brennan has consistently been portrayed as someone who thinks several moves ahead. He is not known for rushing into confrontations or exposing his hand too early. If a corrupt WSB agent were secretly working alongside Cullum, Brennan seems like exactly the type of leader who would notice unusual patterns before anyone else. The question is no longer whether Brennan is capable of discovering Harker. The more intriguing question is whether he already has.

I don’t think General Hospital’s Jack Brennan planted the bomb in Sonny’s apartment

Imagine Brennan identifying Harker as a compromised agent but choosing not to arrest him. At first glance, that decision would seem reckless. In reality, it could be the smartest move possible. Every report Harker delivers to Cullum could become another opportunity for Brennan to observe the enemy’s reactions. Instead of shutting down one corrupt agent, Brennan could quietly map Cullum’s entire network, identify additional accomplices, and uncover hidden operations that would otherwise remain invisible. In counterintelligence, allowing a compromised asset to continue operating under surveillance is often more valuable than removing them immediately.

This possibility becomes even more compelling when compared to Pascal’s storyline. Pascal appeared loyal until he unexpectedly became the key piece that weakened Sidwell from within. Harker occupies almost the exact same position in Cullum’s organization today. He is trusted, informed, constantly present, and deeply involved in every important decision. If General Hospital is intentionally repeating that storytelling structure, Harker may not simply witness Cullum’s downfall—he could become the reason it happens.

Ironically, Cullum may already be making the same mistake that has destroyed countless soap villains before him. He believes his greatest threats are Jason, Valentin, Anna, and Brennan. Yet history has shown that powerful enemies often fall because they overlook the people standing closest to them. Complete trust can become a fatal weakness. The more information Cullum shares with Harker, the more devastating any betrayal—or any hidden surveillance—could become.

General Hospital Recap: Jack Stops Valentin From Leaving Port Charles

Picture the climax of this storyline. Cullum prepares to execute his next move, convinced Carly and Charlotte are within his grasp. Harker arrives with what appears to be another routine intelligence update. Cullum confidently acts on the information, believing everything remains under his control. Moments later, Brennan and the WSB close in from every direction. Only then does Cullum realize that every move he thought was secret may have been visible all along. Whether Harker intentionally betrays him or unknowingly leads Brennan to him, the result would be the same: Cullum’s carefully constructed empire collapses because the person he trusted most became the final piece of the trap.

Of course, General Hospital has not confirmed that Harker is secretly working for Brennan or that Brennan has already uncovered his connection to Cullum. At this point, this remains a theory based on recurring storytelling patterns and recent episodes. But if the writers are deliberately echoing the Pascal storyline, then Harker may already be standing exactly where Pascal once stood. And if that’s true, Cullum’s greatest enemy may never have been Jason, Anna, or Valentin. His biggest mistake may have been believing that the man standing beside him was completely under his control.
