Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that multiple couples will be put to the test and fail!

There’ll be some duos that survive while others seem to be headed into breakup territory, so let’s talk about four romantic pairings that could bring disastrous heartbreak.

1) Tate & Holly

Tate Black (Leo Howard) has been a big source of support for Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) at the hospital throughout her latest ordeal.

DOOL writers are really playing up the strength of Holly and Tate as a Days couple, but things are going to crumble soon.

Holly will survive her contaminated water nightmare, but it looks like she’ll get framed for a drug relapse in the end.

That may be part of EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) cover-up, but the point is Holly will lash out when Tate seemingly thinks a stash of pills is her own.

There’s a good chance this will lead to a romantic split, even if it’s a temporary one that eventually circles back to Holly and Tate’s reunion.

2) Shawn & Jada

Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) are just getting started in their own romantic chapter, but they’re clearly doomed!

Since we know Elia Cantu is out at Days, it’s just a matter of time until Jada leaves the canvas.

Regardless of how Jada exits down the road, her relationship with Shawn isn’t meant to last.

Shawn will have to find someone else to love after Jada departs if they even make it that long.

3) Alex & Stephanie

As for Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stephanie Kiriakis (Abigail Klein), they may have a breakup brewing, too.

Even if Stephanie and Alex don’t get divorced, they could be headed for a separation that splits them up for a while.

Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) is doing everything she can to alienate Stephanie and pull Alex in the direction of building a family with her instead.

Days spoilers say there’ll be more ways for Joy to use Kelsey Kiriakis (Lena and Mira Chase) to her advantage, so Stephanie and Alex may face a romantic split at some point.

4) Brady & Sarah

Of course, the countdown is also on when it comes to Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) heading for Splitsvillle.

Sarah will never be over Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and still dreams about him, so Brady isn’t going to live happily ever after with her.

Despite Brady’s upcoming love profession and how much he wants to believe Sarah is his future, they’ll inevitably break up somewhere down the line.

Will that lead to Sarah reuniting with Xander and giving him news to celebrate instead?
