BOYZONE LEGEND SHUTS DOWN CORRIE RETURN AFTER FANS SPOT A STRANGE CLUE?! š¤š

If thereās one thing soap fans love, itās the return of a beloved character, but unfortunately that has been ruled out for one popular face ofĀ Coronation Streetās past.
In recent scenes of theĀ ITVĀ soap, fans picked up on what they thought may have been a small hint whenĀ Maggie DriscollĀ (Pauline McLynn) mentioned Boyzone.
Fans of the iconic ā90s boy band will remember thatĀ Keith DuffyĀ was a fixture on the cobbles for two lengthy stints as barman and chef Ciaran McCarthy.
He first arrived in 2002 as a friend ofĀ Peter Barlow from his time in the navy.
During his first stint, he dated Sunita Alahan, but the pair split on their wedding day. In 2005, Ciaran left the cobbles after clashing with abuser Charlie Stubbs.
In 2010, he returned to Weatherfield, and this time it wasĀ Michelle ConnorĀ who was the object of his affections.

Once again, their relationship sadly came to an end just before their wedding, after Michelle discovered that heād gambled away the money theyād put aside for the celebrations.
In 2011, he returned to his life working on aĀ cruise ship, while Michelle opted to stay behind.
However,Ā it doesnāt look like heāll be coming backĀ to Coronation Street any time soon, as Keith responded to the mention of his band on screen by ruling it out.
āSomebody sent [the clip] to me, thatās the only reason I saw it!ā He told theĀ Irish Mirror.
āI did think, āThatās a bit bizarre,ā because I was the barman in the Rovers, Pauline was in the Rovers as her character talking about Boyzone. There were so many coincidences at the same time.

āI wondered what was going on. Maybe it was the writers having fun? Iāve no plans to go back. So no, thereās no will to go back.ā
Keith is set to reunite with his Boyzone bandmates this week for their One For The Road: Live At Emirates Stadium concerts, which are set to be theĀ biggest shows of their career.
The band will take to the stage in London this weekend, with support from S-Club on Friday, June 5 and B*Witched on Saturday, June 6.
āWeāve been truly blown away and humbled by the response to the documentary this year. The love weāve felt from fans all over the world has inspired us to create the ultimate experience together, headlining our own stadium show,ā the band said, according to Ticketmaster.
āThe four of us canāt wait to stand together again and enjoyĀ One For The Road.ā
